  1. Use the directional buttons (up, down, left, and right) to navigate through the menus and adjust settings.
  2. The center button is used to select menu items or confirm actions.
  3. The mode button is used to switch between different modes, such as temperature measurement and image capture.

 

Step 3: Adjust the emissivity

 

  1. Emissivity is the ability of a material to emit infrared radiation. The emissivity value for a given material can be found in reference tables or estimated based on the material's surface characteristics.
  2. To adjust the emissivity, press the menu button and select the "Emissivity" setting.
  3. Use the directional buttons to adjust the emissivity value to match the material being measured.

 

Step 4: Measure temperature

 

  1. Aim the camera at the object you want to measure.
  2. Press the center button to set the central point of measurement.
  3. The temperature of the central point will be displayed on the screen.
