Step 1: Charge the Battery

  • Insert the battery into the compartment on the bottom of the camera.
  • Connect the USB cable to the USB port on the side of the camera.
  • Connect the other end of the USB cable to a computer or other USB power source.
  • Wait until the battery is fully charged. The red LED on the front of the camera will turn off when the battery is fully charged.

Step 2: Insert a MicroSD Card

  • Open the MicroSD card slot cover on the side of the camera.
  • Insert a MicroSD card into the slot, with the label facing the front of the camera.
  • Close the MicroSD card slot cover.

Step 3: Power On the Camera

  • Press and hold the Power/Mode button on the front of the camera until the camera powers on.

Step 4: Set Up the Camera

  • Use the Power/Mode button to cycle through the different camera modes (Video, Photo, Multi-shot, and Playback).
  • Use the Shutter/Select button on the top of the camera to select a mode.
  • Use the Settings/Tag button on the side of the camera to access the settings for the selected mode.
  • Use the Power/Mode and Shutter/Select buttons to navigate the settings and make changes as desired.

Step 5: Start Recording or Capturing Photos

  • Press the Shutter/Select button to start recording video or capturing photos.
  • Press the Shutter/Select button again to stop recording or capturing photos.

Step 6: Review Your Footage

  • Press the Power/Mode button to cycle to the Playback mode.
  • Use the Power/Mode and Shutter/Select buttons to navigate through your footage and review it on the camera's screen.

Step 7: Power Off the Camera

  • Press and hold the Power/Mode button until the camera powers off.
