If you just have an EJ#, which is the Accession Number, you can search by that number by using the dropdown menu on ERIC's search page in the Select a field box and click on Accession Number and type in your number.  If you have clicked "Check for Full-Text" or "Check for Availability" and the article you are looking for is only available through Interlibrary Services (ILS) then this means that you will need to request the item through the system and we will locate it for you.  Click the link to ILS, login in and review the information (If you are a first time user, you will be required to complete a user information page). Once you click "submit" it will go to our ILS Department and be processed.

Once the article request is filled you will receive an email with a link back to the ILS system where you can login and retrieve the PDF of the article. You can login or check the status of your article anytime at:  Requests can take several days, although some arrive in 1-2 days, so please be patient and plan ahead.

If we own the item you requested you will receive an email directing you to its location.  If this is the case you will need to retrieve the item yourself.
