Interlibrary Services (ILS) is a service which borrows books or acquires digital copies of articles that the Meriam Library doesn't own. There is a link on the ReSEARCH Station or go to https://csuchico.illiad.oclc.org/illiad/logon.html.  Log in with your Portal account. (If you are a first time user, you will be required to complete a user information page.)

If you have clicked "Check for Full-Text" or "Check for Availability" and the article you are looking for is only available through Interlibrary Services (ILS) then this means that you will need to request the item through the system and we will locate it for you.  Click the link to ILS, login in and review the information (If you are a first time user, you will be required to complete a user information page). Once you click "submit" it will go to our ILS Department and be processed.

Once the article request is filled you will receive an email with a link back to the ILS system where you can login and retrieve the PDF of the article. You can login or check the status of your article anytime at: https://csuchico.illiad.oclc.org/illiad/logon.html.  Requests can take several days so please be patient and plan ahead.

If we own the item you requested you will receive an email directing you to its location.  If this is the case you will need to retrieve the item yourself
